McDonald’s wanted to launching new burger with the hot Tabasco sauce. The print ad concept was a burning new paper cover. It was to be replicated on the homepage of Khaleej Times. But on web the data is always changing unlike the offline medium that was a challenge for this kind of an execution.
Storyboard was created followed with mockup with different style of execution revealing the burger and sauce combination. The burning flame was created in a video format with transparent background so website content is not harmed, allowing the banner to run anytime on the site with updated data in the backdrop.
Banner was successfully server with mediamind for a full day on Khaleej Time in sync with print ad launch date.
The banner won Dubai Lynx bronze!
